Enjoying computers at a young age, Paul K. Hoover failed his first computer class in 7th grade, but retook it, made an "A", and never looked back.  Throughout high school he assisted friends and family members as he worked on his own PC upgrading from a basic system to a powerful workstation.  Early on he knew right away computers would be a big part of his life.

Paul completed his MIS bachelor's degree at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, GA while enjoying positions with Best Buy and CompUSA as a hardware sales specialists and then took a graveyard operator position with IBM.

For the next 2 years Paul worked as a senior systems analyst on the help desk at the corporate office of Ronald Blue & Co. where he expanded his software knowledge to over 200 applications as well as maintain and troubleshoot all types of PC's, servers, and peripherals.  For a brief time, Paul served as the entire help desk juggling up to 70 help desk issues at a time.

In April 2001, Paul moved to Seattle, WA where the technical job market was in a slump.  He created Hoover Computer Consulting as a way to make some extra money while maintaining his computer skills, and helping others by providing an affordable in-home alternative to the overpriced experts and inept rookie technicians.  In the last 2 years, Hoover Computer Consulting has seen phenomenal growth from its inception to 100+ clients including residences and small businesses with 75% of work coming from repeat business and referrals.

In February of 2003, Paul moved back to Atlanta, GA to be with his family, and expand the HCC concept there.

Andrew Kennedy is no stranger to the West Coast.  A California native, he resides in sunny Southern California after spending four years in Seattle, WA.

His resume includes operations processing at Bank of America, to office management at Blue Line Machinery in Anaheim, to working on the help desk of Shopping.com.

Andrew has studied for his Business Management degree at Rancho Santiago College and Fullerton Community College as well as working towards his A+ and NT certifications.

In April of 2002, Andrew joined Hoover Computer Consulting desiring to use his accumulated computer skills and enjoyment of networks  to push HCC into other markets.  Andrew has been a great asset as he has handled many existing HCC customers, and embraced our mission to help those who are tired of having to pack up their PC, be without it for weeks, and pay lots of money for computer service that treats them poorly.

With the departure of Paul in February 2003, Andrew will be heading up Hoover Computer Consulting, and looks forward to the new challenges ahead.
