"If the automobile
had followed the same development as the computer, a Rolls-Royce would
today cost $100, get a million miles per gallon, and explode once a year
killing everyone inside." |

When it comes to computers, although comical, this quote explains in very simple terms what we all know about PC's. Prices have been falling from the beginning with technology moving at an alarming rate with computer glitches at an all-time high it seems. There is no product in the world designed to be as versatile, accomplish more tasks, and expected to be as flawless as the PC. Normally, he does his tasks rather well, but on occasion we all see the shortcomings when that blue screen pops up, our favorite piece of hardware stops working, or we can't get a certain software package running.
At HCC, we have seen that the options that are out there are horrible for customers. You dismantle your PC. Take it to them. Wait a long time. Pay high prices. Bring it home. Put it back together. Hopefully they've fixed your problem. Either that or coming to your door typically brings exhorbitant travel charges and a few hundred just to walk in the door.
When you get hungry for pizza, you pick up the phone and have them come to you. Why can't someone do the same for my PC? You know, we asked ourselves the exact same question. |
