Mr. Miyagi in one of the Karate Kid movies was quoted as saying, "No such thing
as bad student, only bad teacher." There are a lot of techies out
there who want to keep the mystery of PC's just that...a mystery.
They speak in super-technical terms, and try to fly about 36,000 feet above
anyone else that desires to learn about PC's.
For almost a decade,
we have been intimately involved with not only learning PC's, but
passing that knowledge along in ways that colleagues and customers could
understand. Not everyone thinks the same way, and certainly not everyone
learns the same way. We have found that most are intimidated by the
PC not because the information
is really that difficult, but presented in a demeaning,
difficult to understand, and snobbish way.
However, when it comes down
to it, a PC is nothing really that complicated, and kids everyday are learning
in their first grade classrooms how to conquer not only their fears of PC's,
but how to utilize their PC's potential to expand their learning and
productivity. In the same
way, we will meet you on whatever level you may need in a non-threatening
way to bring PC's alive in a way they never have before. Our goal
is that after this training, you will embrace and enjoy a lifetime of learning
about PC's and the benefits that are enjoyed
by those who use them.
Below is a list of basic PC
fundamentals that we will go over. Advanced users may choose other
aspects of the PC if these are already familiar to them including hardware
training, specialized software instruction, web development,
basic PC troubleshooting, and hardware/software repairs. The $99 In-Home Setup/Training
includes a 60-minute session to answer these questions, and up to one hour of technical support during
the week following the setup. Additional training is offered in
2 hour intervals for $100 which also includes any travel expenses in reaching
your home/business (excluding parking fees). Multiple training visits
may be ordered at a discounted rate.
